Eligibility for Assam police new vacancy 2023
# The Applicants must be residents of Assam# The Applicant Must have an Employment Registration Card

Age Limit
#Candidates for the positions of boatman, constable, and driver constable must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25 on January 1, 2023. Candidates have to have been born after January 1, 1998, but before January 1, 2005.
#As of January 1, 2023, applicants must be at least 20 years old and no older than 26 years old to qualify for the Sub Inspector (UB) position. Candidates have to have been born after January 1, 1997, but before January 1, 2003.
#As of January 1, 2023, applicants for Grade IV (Assam Commando Battalions) must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25. Candidates have to have been born after January 1, 1998, but before January 1, 2005.
#Candidates for Grade IV (Assam Police/DGCD & CGHG) must be at least 18 years old and no older than 40 on January 1, 2023. Candidates must have been born between January 1, 1998, and January 1, 1983, or between those dates.
Age Relaxation:
(i) For OBC candidates, by three years.
(ii) For ST candidates, by 5 Years.
(iii) For SC candidates, by 5 Years.
Education Qualification For assam police new vacancy 2023
(1)Candidates who have passed the HSLC or Class 10th test from an approved educational board or council are eligible to apply for the job of constable (AB).(2) Constable (UB): Candidates for this job must have completed the HS or Class 12th examination from an accredited educational board or council.
(3) Boatman: Candidates for this post must have successfully passed the HSLC or its equivalent from a reputable educational board or council. Candidates must also demonstrate a high level of swimming ability.
(4) Constable (Communication): Applicants for this post must have completed the High School (Science) Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a reputable educational board or council. Candidates must have received passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) on the HS (Science) test in order to be considered for the position.
(5) Constable (Carpenter): Candidates are eligible to apply for this post if they have successfully finished the requisite ITI course in the relevant trade and have passed the HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized educational board or council.
(6) Constable (Dispatch Rider/Messenger): Applicants for this post must have passed the HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized educational board or council and be in possession of a current LMV, MMV, or HMV driver's license.
(7) Constable (Craft Instructor): Candidates for this post must have successfully passed the HSLC or have obtained an equivalent qualification from a reputable Board or Council. Candidates must also possess a certificate in bamboo and cane work, tailoring, weaving, or soap manufacturing from an ITI or another reputable Institute.
(8) Driver Constable: Applicants for this position must have passed the HSLC or a test that is recognized as being comparable by a recognized Board or Council, as well as a valid driving license for the LMV, MMV, or HMV.
(9) Grade IV: Applicants must have completed up to the eighth grade at a recognized school or institution. HSSLC or Class XII passing from an accredited Board or Council is the highest qualification approved. If necessary, candidates might additionally need to have appropriate trade degrees.
(10) Safai Karmachari: Applicants for this position must have completed up to the sixth grade at a recognized school or institution. HSSLC or Class XII passing from a recognized Board or Council is the highest qualification recognized.
(11) Sub Inspector (UB): Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in either the arts or the sciences are welcome to apply.
(12) Nurse: General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Diploma from a Government Medical College.
(13) Laboratory Technician: Completed Medical College's Laboratory Technician Course.
(14) Instructor:
HSSLC Passed and
Jr. Basic Training Certificate
(15) Craft Teacher
(i) The HSLC passed.
(ii) A certificate from ITI or another reputable Institute in bamboo and cane work, tailoring, weaving, or soap manufacturing.
(16) A tractor driver
(i) The HSLC passed.
Tractor driving permit (ii).
(17) Havildar: Successful completion of the H.S.L.C. or a comparable test from a reputable Board or Council. Additional Requirements: NCC 'B' Certificate at the very least.
