Education Qualification:

# Mining and civil: BE, B.Tech, or B.Sc. (Engg.) in the pertinent engineering field with a minimum 60% score.

Geology requires an M.Sc. or M.Tech. with at least 60% in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, or Applied Geophysics.

The required minimum score for applicants in the GENERAL (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories is 60%. Candidates who fall under the categories of SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are offered a 5% exemption from the minimum required score of 55%.

Categories-wise posts: Civil: 172; Geology: 37; Mining: 351

Pay Scale: During the training term, selected applicants would be hired as Management Trainees in the E-2 Grade with an initial Basic Salary of Rs. 50,000 - 1, 60,000. Regularization will be in the E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs 60,000 - 1,80,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs 60,000/- with probation for 1 year, if not extended, upon successful and satisfactorily completing the 1-year training term and passing the exam held for the purpose.

Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants in the General (UR) and EWS categories is 30 as of August 31, 2023.
